Welcome! We're James and Bugsy, and we're on a journey to discover the people, places, and experiences that make North America's towns and communities special.
I'm James Georgeson. After decades of travelling across North America and exploring more than 1,600 towns, I've learned something important: Some of the most memorable places are the smaller communities that don't always get the attention they deserve.
And travelling with Bugsy, my faithful dachshund companion, makes every adventure a little more interesting!
James brings a lifetime of travel, business experience, and a genuine interest in people and their communities. Bugsy brings curiosity, companionship, and a four-legged perspective on the places we discover.
Our digital counterparts help bring Destination Discovery Tours to life. James AI shares stories about local history, attractions, culture, and community life, while Bugsy AI explores pet-friendly places and other interesting discoveries.
Together, they help us introduce travellers to communities throughout North America, including places we have yet to visit personally.
We believe every town deserves to be noticed, regardless of its size, tourism budget, or available staff.
Behind every small community are people who take pride in their hometown, local businesses that deserve support, and experiences waiting to be discovered.
Our goal is simple: Help more people discover these communities, appreciate what makes them special, and recommend them to others.
We believe in building lasting relationships, supporting local businesses, and treating every community with the respect and attention it deserves.
Through our Destination Discovery Tours, we'll explore local history, attractions, interesting people, hidden gems, and the businesses that give each community its character.
Working alongside Visitor Centres, Chambers of Commerce, and local partners, Smart Rack Cards helps make these discoveries available directly on visitors' smartphones through Digital Tourist Kiosks.
No expensive hardware. No complicated technology. Just an easier way to discover what makes every town worth visiting.
Whether you're planning a vacation, exploring somewhere new, or rediscovering your own backyard, we invite you to travel along with James and Bugsy.
Discover a town. Support a local business. Share a favourite experience. Tell a friend.
One Town at a Time. One Relationship at a Time.
Helping Communities Get Noticed, Remembered, Revisited, and Recommended.
